HERE  BE  DRAGONS

On sea charts of old there would often be blank (i.e. unexplored) regions that would be entitled “Here Be Dragons“. Well, this page certainly won’t be blank, but here will be dragons, corralled together from various regions so one can appreciate the many different forms the mighty dragon could take,  just for comparison sake. And unlike the demonic, fierce, fire-spitting dragons in ‘western’ mythology, the Asian dragon is a benevolent creature of great creative power, and hence much beloved.
