TYPE: A  dragon and phoenix design Tibetan khaden

CIRCA: 1900

A lovely early Tibetan khaden featuring two dragons and two phoenix’s. Each four clawed red scaled dragon is chasing its own precious jewel through the clouds, with the phoenix’s diagonally opposite each other in the  corners. The dragon is a non-demonic creature of great creative power while the phoenix symbolizes peace and tranquility. A very well executed overall design with primarily natural dyes.
