Tibetan takyeb (pack animal forehead ‘decoration’) showing a flower array emanating from a vase filled with flaming jewels. Hand spun wool warp and weft, rich saturated natural dyes, and made sometime in the early 1900’s. First time on the market since being bought from a Tibetan refugee in Nepal in the early 1970’s, having been in that one collectors hands since then. ALREADY SOLD.
