CIRCA: early 1900’s
A over-saddle carpet (masho) with a dragon as its central design. The tan center field has a flower and a green trellis-like design in each corner, and is surrounded by a green inner border featuring ‘ flaming jewels’. The dark blue outer main border consist of flowers and various stylised objects. All natural dyes, the green being especially pleasing.
