TYPE: A Tibetan over-saddle carpet, floral design

CIRCA: 1920’s

An over-saddle carpet (masho) featuring a single floral motif as the centerpiece on an dark blue field, in opposite corners of which are mountains and waves. And inner border of pearls frames the center field, while the outer border consist of cartouches with flowers inside and floral diamond designs in the corners. Aniline and natural dyes.
