Uncommon ‘one-piece’ makden (under-saddle carpet) woven as a single continues piece ‘on-the-loom‘ as opposed to the regular method of weaving this type of carpet in two separate pieces and then joining together after being taken off the loom.**

All natural dyes, wool warp and weft, no repairs or reweaves. In very good condition save for the wear where the rider’s knees / legs have rubbed on the pile of the rug (as can be seen in lower left and right photos).
