CIRCA: 1900’s, 3rd Qtr
A khaden (or ‘bed-size’ carpet) with the classic ‘tigers in bamboo’ design. Age undetermined, certainly not antique, but not later than the mid 1970’s when it was bought by the current owner in Kathmandu, Nepal. Size is 160cm x 90cm, it has wool warp and weft with a mix of natural and synthetic dyes and is in excellent condition. ALREADY SOLD
